NUT is an all-women’s publication featuring artworks on paper, conceived in 2017 by Liza Lacroix and Alli Melanson. The publication is named after the Egyptian Goddess, Nut, who is a mother and protector. Her star-filled body shields the earth, with each of her limbs fixed to a cardinal point. Every night, Nut swallows the sun and births it anew the next day, performing the perpetual cycle of life and death.
